Driver CPC Training

DCPC Cards Certified & Approved by Jaupt

LGV and PCV drivers must take 35 hours of periodic training in every 5 year period. All of our courses are in 7-hour blocks and have been approved by JAUPT. Once a driver has attended the full 35 hours of training, a new DCPC card will be issued for a further 5 years.

We run a course every 4-6 weeks, Monday to Saturday, at our training facility in Sunderland; a driver can attend any of these days as required. If you would require a weekend course, we would gladly like to accommodate.

Forklift training

Velocity can provide a wide range of fork lift truck training courses, each course is held on your own premises with a qualified instructor, the length of course depends on each candidate

Training persons involved with vehicle movement

Banksman training

This half day course is for training persons involved in vehicle movements, the training can take place at the customers location

The course consists of a theoretical and practical
sessions with particular emphasis on hand
signals, continuous assessments will be made
over the day and successful completion of the course will lead to the issue of a
certificate of attendance.

Comprehensive one day first aid course

First Aid training

3 Day first Aid at work
This course is adapted for anyone wanting to become an accredited first aider/appointed person or a employer has carried out a risk assessment and identified a fully qualified person is required.

1 Day Emergency First at work
This course is for a nominated first aiders or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course.

Covers the role of the designated fire Marshal

Firewarden training

This half day course covers the role of the designated fire marshal. It also gives you the opportunity to learn about the different types of fire extinguisher and how to use them correctly. The course is designed for not only those who are/will be designated fire marshals but for any individual who may be required to operate a fire extinguisher.

At the end of the course candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
