DRIVER’S MATE – JARROW
Location: Jarrow
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Pay: £14.24 per hour
Night Out Allowance: £15.60 per night
Nights Out: Approximately 4 nights per week

We are currently recruiting for a Driver’s Mate to join our client’s busy delivery operation based in Jarrow .

The role involves travelling with a Class 1 driver and assisting with the deliveries to customers across the UK . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and is comfortable with a physically demanding role.

The Role

* Assisting the driver with deliveries across the UK
* Delivering fireplaces directly to customers
* Loading and unloading goods
* Heavy lifting is involved , so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Approximately 4 nights out per week , sleeping in the cab
* Monday to Friday working pattern

Pay & Benefits

* £14.24 per hour
* £15.60 night-out allowance per night
* Monday-Friday working week

About You
We are looking for someone who:

* Is physically fit and happy with heavy lifting
* Is reliable and hardworking
* Has a positive attitude
* Is comfortable spending nights away from home
* Is happy travelling throughout the UK
* Has good customer service skills
* Previous experience in a delivery, warehouse or labouring role would be beneficial, but is not essential
